The Supreme court this afternoon dismissed the Sen. Akpanudeghe's suit challenging the election of GOV Godswill Akpabio. In a lead judgement delivered by Hon. Justice Mary Odili,the court described the suit as lacking in merit and abuse of court process and waste of judicial time.
Justice Odili said the submission of the appellant counsel was a good academic rendition and had no consequence whatsoever.
The full panel of seven Justices chaired by Hon. Justice Chukwuma Ede were unanimous in the decision.
