COMMUNITY SHIELD MATCH PREVIEW : Not A Friendly
The community shield might be a curtain raiser for the new pl season. Cards accrued will not have any impact on the season. Teams are permitted to use 6 out of the 7 subs on the bench. The match goes straight to penalties if a winner has not emerged after full time. A win does not count for 3 points. So it is definitely not an EPL match, but it is certainly not a friendly.
